The Calculation Methods for the Determination of Lower Explosion Limit by Hydrocarbon Gases

Abstract

Článok sa zaoberá stanovením dolnej medze výbušnosti uhľovodíkových plynov pomocou dvoch výpočtových metód. V požiarnej praxi je dolná medza výbušnosti dôležitým parametrom, pretože poskytuje informáciu pre bezpečnú manipuláciu s danou horľavou látkou. Cieľom práce je overiť presnosť dvoch použitých výpočtových metód dolnej medze výbušnosti pre uhľovodíkové plyny LPG, CNG a LNG, porovnať ich s experimentálne stanovenou dolnou medzou výbušnosti. Výsledky možno považovať za aproximatívne.The article presenting determination of lower explosion limit of hydrocarbon gases by two calculation methods. Lower explosion limit is important parameter in fi re prevention because it contains necessary information for safe handling with given fl ammable material. The main aim of this work is to verify exactness of lower explosion limits hydrocarbon gases LPG, CNG, LNG by computerized methods in comparison with experimentally determined value and to gain results.
