Dezentrale Abwasserentsorgung mit Kleinkläranlagen in Verantwortung eines Wasserwirtschaftsverbandes

Abstract

Semi- or decentralised wastewater disposal systems can - especially in rural areas - be alternatives to conventional drainage systems with discharge to a central wastewater treatment plant. Based on a contracting-model a decentralised wastewater disposal concept for an existing residential area in the catchment area of the Lippeverband was implemented in the context of a pilot project. The construction, operation and maintennace of the inserted small sewage treatment plants are carried out by the Lippeverband over a period of ten years. This concept offers the property owners being self-responsible for their wasterwater disposal before an "all-inclusive-solution". During a period of two years the development of the resident's acceptance will be monitored and the costs and the manpower requirements will be pursued
