InP-based photonic integrated circuit with WDM switched optical delay lines for true-time-delay beamsteering of a 40 GHz phased-array antenna

Abstract

We have realized an InP-based WDM switched-optical-delay-lines chip that can introduce time shifts between four wavelengths at the 1555nm region. The losses are around 27dB and the switching speed is 1 OOns measured from the bondpads
