У статті висвітлено внесок київського громадівця О. Стоянова у збереження пам’яток архітектури та дослідження традиційного побуту й культури народів Грузії. Розкрито його місце у національному русі грузинів 2-ї пол. ХІХ ст. та участь в освоєнні Чорноморського цілинного узбережжя.В статье освещено вклад киевского громадовца А. Стоянова в сохранение памяток архитектуры и исследование традиционной культуры народов Грузии. Раскрыто его место в национальном движении грузинов 2-й пол. ХІХ в. и участие в освоении Черноморского побережья.The article covers the contribution of O.Stoyanov, a member of the Hromada of Kyiv clandestine society of Ukrainian intelligentsia, in the preservation of architectural monuments and research of traditional way of living and culture of Georgian ethnic groups. It discloses his role in the Georgian national movement of the 2nd half of the 19th century and participation in reclamation of virgin lands in the Black Sea region
