The article is a unique stroll along John Amos Comenius\u27 life, full of difficult choices and writing. The author also tries to commemorate the coope-ration of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce with comeniologists from Poland (mainly from Leszno, Łódź, Warsaw and Poznań) as well as from other European countries (mainly Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, and Ukraine). The paper quotes numerous fragments of their speeches given at the International Seminars of John Amos Comenius in Siedlce
