Rhode Island Report on the Judiciary 2003

Abstract

As I near the completion of my first year as State Court Administrator, it is with both pleasure and pride that, pursuant to G.L. 1956 (1997 Reenactment) § 8-15-7,1 submit the 2003 Annual Report on the Rhode Island Judiciary. In twelve short months, we have accomplished a great deal. We have continued promoting the use of mediation and arbitration in appellate cases through the development of the Appellate Mediation Program. We have continued enhancing our jury system by providing free parking for those citizens called to jury service
