Abstract
In this work is presented a simulation process of hot forging with the titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V using the computational program LARSTRAN/SHAPE, which is a program of finite elements and allows to the bi and three-dimensional solution. Using different curves of flow, it was compared its influence with the forging force in an experimental procedure. Some used parameters were: the speed of press was of 6.7 mm/s, the initial temperature of forging was of 950°C and the average strain rate was of 0.52 s-1.
Keywords: Simulation, Ti-6Al-4V, curves of flow.Neste trabalho é apresentado uma simulação computacional de um processo de forjamento a quente de uma peça com a liga de titânio Ti-6Al-4V com auxílio do programa computacional LARSTRAN/SHAPE, que é um programa de elementos finitos e permite a solução bi e tridimensional. Empregando-se diferentes curvas de escoamento, foi comparado sua influência com a força de forjamento num procedimento experimental. Alguns parâmetros utilizados foram: velocidade da prensa utilizada foi de 6,7 mm/s, temperatura inicial de forjamento 950°C e a velocidade de deformação média de 0,52 s-1.
