Coragem de “Mães Arrependidas” se narrarem na web: discursos e práticas de liberdade

Abstract

Partindo dos Estudos Discursivos Foucaultianos, propomo-nos analisar arqueogenealogicamente narrativas de si de “Mães Arrependidas” que partilham nas redes sociais suas frustrações em relação à maternidade, chocando-se com o poder patriarcal na expectativa de libertarem-se de amarras sociais que consideram a maternidade como um destino natural das mulheres e, portanto, algo que não deve ser contestado ou negado, muito menos odiado. Aproximamos essas narrativas de si – materializadas no instagram @maearrependida – da inquietude crítica de Michel Foucault em seus últimos cursos dedicados à subjetividade e à verdade, priorizados aqui como grade de leitura e de análise de modo a darmos relevo à produção e à circulação do enunciado “Mães arrependidas” compreendido como um nó em uma rede que interliga, nas redes sociais e fora dela, um sem número de mulheres que ao se narrarem valem-se da coragem da verdade (parresía), enfrentam riscos e, sobretudo, provocam fraturas virtuais no dispositivo da maternidade, abrindo espaços de possíveis autotransformações, ou seja, liberdade.Based on Foucaultian Discursive Studies, we propose to archeogenealogically analyze self-narratives of regretful mothers who share their frustrations regarding motherhood on social media, clashing with patriarchal power in the hope of freeing themselves from social constraints that consider motherhood as a natural destiny for women and, therefore, something that should not be challenged or denied, much less hated. We bring these narratives of self – materialized on the Instagram account @maearrependida – closer to the critical restlessness of Michel Foucault in his last courses dedicated to subjectivity and truth, prioritized here as a reading and analysis grid in order to highlight the production and circulation of the statement “Regretful mothers” understood as a node in a network that interconnects, within and outside social networks, countless women who, when narrating themselves, rely on the courage of truth (parrhesia), face risks and, above all, cause virtual fractures in the device of motherhood, opening up spaces for possible self-transformations, that is, freedom
