هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد درجة وعي العاملين في الإدارة المالية لشركة الزاوية لتكرير النفط بأهمية الإفصاح البيئي عن التكاليف البيئية للشركة، وتحديد أهم العوامل التي تعيق الإفصاح البيئي عن التكاليف البيئية لشركة الزاوية لتكرير النفط، إلى جانب معرفة أثر محددات الإفصاح المحاسبي البيئي على درجة الإفصاح عن التكاليف البيئية لشركة الزاوية لتكرير النفط، توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الإفصاح عن التكاليف البيئية يساهم في تحسين صورة الشركة في بيئتها، لذا ينبغي على المسؤولين عن الشركة الإفصاح عن التكاليف البيئية في القوائم المالية للشركة، وتعزيز التشريعات والقوانين المحلية المتعلقة بالإفصاح البيئي، وإلزام الشركة بالإفصاح عن الإفصاح البيئي للشركة في قوائمها المالية، وزيادة اهتمام إدارة الشركة بالإفصاح البيئي، واعتباره جزءاً من ثقافتها لكسب دعم الأطراف ذات الصلة بالشركة وتعزيز مكانتها في الصناعة، ودعم توجه الشركة نحو التنمية المستدامة من خلال مراعاة المساهمات في الأنشطة البيئية وتخصيص ميزانيات للإنفاق على المشاريع البيئية ضمن المسؤولية الاجتماعية للشركة.The study aimed to determine the degree of awareness of employees in the financial management of Zawia Oil Refining Company of the importance of environmental disclosure about the company’s environmental costs، and identifying the most important factors that hinder environmental disclosure of the environmental costs of Zawia Oil Refining Company. As well as knowing the impact of environmental accounting disclosure determinants on the degree of disclosure of environmental costs for Zawia Oil Refining Company، the study found that disclosing environmental costs contributes to improving the company's image in its environment، so those responsible for the company should disclose environmental costs in the company's financial statements. Strengthening local legislation and laws related to environmental disclosure، obligating the company to disclose the company’s environmental disclosure in its financial statements، and increasing the company’s management’s interest in environmental disclosure. Considering it part of its culture to gain the support of parties related to the company and enhance its position in the industry، and supporting the company's direction towards sustainable development by taking into account contributions to environmental activities and allocating budgets to spend on environmental projects within the company's social responsibility
