The objective of this study was to evaluate the executive functioning of children diagnosed with congenital hypothyroidism through dynamic evaluation using the resolution of problems. The results revealed difficulties in integrating, categorize and establish the representation of relations between the elements of the problem. Data were collected unsystematically, skipping the logic that organizes and leads directly to an appropriate response. Thus, it appears that there is need for change in the proposed school for children with HC has effectiveness in academic performance.O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o funcionamento executivo das crianças com diagnóstico de hipotiroidismo congênito por meio da avaliação dinâmica utilizando a resolução de problemas. Os resultados revelaram dificuldade em integrar, categorizar e estabelecer a representação das relações entre os elementos do problema. Os dados foram coletados por meio de avaliação assistida. Dessa forma, conclui-se que há necessidade de mudança na proposta escolar para que a criança com hipotiroidismo congênito tenha efetividade no rendimento acadêmico
