This article is an analysis of the research conducted by the late Prof. Józef Wilk SDB into the preventive system created by St. Don Bosco. Since he was a Salesian with an educational background in pastoral work and pedagogy, Fr. Wilk analyzed the preventive system in the context of these three areas. Hence, for Fr. Wilk, the preventive system was above all a Salesian heritage. For him, educational love constituted the essence of the preventive system and he considered remaining faithful to the youth as the actualization of the preventive system. He also regarded Salesian youth spirituality as a general proposal emanating from the preventive system.Artykuł jest analizą badań prowadzonych przez nieżyjącego już prof. Józefa Wilka SDB nad systemem prewencyjnym stworzonym przez św. Ks. Bosko. Ponieważ był salezjaninem z wykształceniem duszpasterskim i pedagogicznym, ks. Wilk analizował system prewencyjny w kontekście tych trzech obszarów. Stąd dla ks. Wilka, system prewencyjny był przede wszystkim dziedzictwem salezjańskim. Istotę systemu prewencyjnego stanowiła dla niego miłość wychowawcza, a wierność młodzieży uważał za aktualizację systemu prewencyjnego.
