European air passenger rights : delay and cancellation

Abstract

The protection of passengers by EU law dates back more than 20 years. The current framework, in particular Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, raises important issues, such as the notions of delay and cancellation. These two concepts are discussed in this contribution, with reference to C.J.E.U. case law
