In 1997 John Woo’s action film „Face/Off” was released in cinemas. In this publication we ask whether the antagonist in this film, Castor Troy, should be interpreted as a representation of Satan? To find the answer, we explore two issues: 1) possible references to satanic horror, confirming the evil nature of this character, 2) possible elements confirming the same, but coming from non-cinematic culture, mainly the Bible. This article is the second part of a longer, three-part text in which we explore the above issue, limiting ourselves to the second topic, though only partially due to its length. We will continue this topic in the third part. It turns out that there are some hints in the film confirming Troy’s satanic nature. W naszej publikacji zadajemy pytanie, czy postać antagonisty z tego filmu – Castora Troya – należy interpretować jako przedstawienie szatana? Aby znaleźć na nie odpowiedź, eksplorujemy dwie kwestie: 1) ewentualne nawiązania do horroru satanistycznego, potwierdzające szatańskość tego bohatera, 2) ewentualne elementy potwierdzające to samo, ale pochodzące z kultury niefilmowej, głównie z Biblii. Ten artykuł jest drugą częścią dłuższego, trzyczęściowego tekstu, w którym badamy powyższą problematykę, ograniczając się tylko do drugiego zagadnienia, jednak tylko częściowo z powodu jego obszerności.
