This book comprehensively explores the theoretical foundations and practical applications of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in social studies and geography education. The work examines the integration into the Turkish education system of this student-centered model, which encourages seeking interdisciplinary solutions to real-world problems. After explaining the philosophical roots of PBL, its relationship with European Union projects (Erasmus+) is scrutinized. Furthermore, concrete project examples implemented in various subjects such as history teaching at Göbeklitepe, digital game development for geographical indications, the phenomenon of migration, and environmental awareness (carbon footprint, green transformation) are included. The study emphasizes that PBL increases students' academic achievements, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Eser, öğrencileri merkeze alan, gerçek dünya problemlerine disiplinlerarası çözümler aramaya teşvik eden bu modelin, Türkiye'deki eğitim sistemine entegrasyonunu incelemektedir. Kitapta, PTÖ'nün felsefi kökenleri açıklandıktan sonra, Avrupa Birliği projeleriyle (Erasmus+) olan ilişkisi irdelenmiştir.
