The present work evaluates the origin of Modernity, having its perspective traced from the end of the 15th century, identifying its objectives and basic characteristics, as well as its subsequent impact on Identitarianism. Its objective is to identify how the identity discourse should be articulated in the face of the challenges of overcoming the Eurocentrist concepts created by Modernity. Therefore, research was carried out in theoretical material that addresses the various aspects analyzed here. It verifies the real needs of the identity struggle and points out any distortions that occurred in this process. It is concluded that there is a need for unity of action to overcome the adversities pointed out by the various movements, respecting their particularitiesO presente trabalho analisa a origem da Modernidade, tendo sua perspectiva traçada a partir do final do século XV, identificando seus objetivos e características básicas, bem como seu posterior impacto no Identitarismo. Apresenta como objetivo situar de que forma o discurso identitário deve se articular diante dos desafios de superação dos conceitos eurocentristas criados pela Modernidade. Para tanto, faz-se investigação em material teórico que aborde os variados aspectos aqui analisados. Verifica as reais necessidades da luta identitária e assinala eventuais distorções ocorridas nesse processo. Conclui-se pela necessidade de unidade de ação para superação das adversidades apontadas pelos diversos movimentos, observando-se suas particularidades
