This time, this article presents the book El nuevo oficio del investigador educativo. Una introducción metodológica (The New Trade of the Educational Researcher. A Methodological Introduction), a work of Felipe Martinez Rizo, PhD, published in the year of 2020, co-published by the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes and the Mexican Council of Educational Research (COMIE). It is important to mention that this narration does not intend to offer an exhaustive summary, but rather offers an invitation to the audience to the reading and consult, which makes essential to write a brief academic biography of the author as well as to mention the edition that precedes this work in order to comment on the structure and general contents of the aforementioned work.
