Abstract
O objetivo do estudo foi comparar a Tabela Nutricional de Whey Protein entre o público feminino e masculino consumidores e não consumidores do suplemento. Metodologia: Estudo de abordagem quantitativa do tipo descritivo-analÃtica. Aplicamos questionário nos participantes e analisamos as tabelas nutricionais dos suplementos. Resultados e discussões: 48% das mulheres e 60% dos homens consomem whey protein na faixa etária de 19 e 28 anos. Entre 1 e 3 anos é a maior média de tempo da prática da musculação. O sexo masculino informar ter maior conhecimento sobre a função do whey protein. O professor de educação fÃsica e o nutricionista são os responsáveis pela indicação do consumo entre mulheres e homens respectivamente. A composição nutricional de proteÃna do whey protein apresentou um desvio padrão de 3,47g no whey isolado e 19,67g no whey concentrado. Conclusões: os jovens são os maiores praticantes de musculação e maiores consumidores de whey protein. A maioria não recebe orientação adequada para consumo. Possuem conhecimento empÃrico. A composição nutricional dos 62 produtos disponÃveis no mercado possui composição similar. ABSTRACT Comparative study of the nutritional table and whey protein consumption among male and female audiences of Fortaleza-CEThe aim of this study was to compare the Nutritional Table of Whey Protein in the audience female and male consumers and not consumers of the add-in. Methodology: quantitative approach study of descriptive-analytic type. Apply questionnaire in participants and analyze the nutritional tables of supplements. Conclusions: young people are the biggest practitioners of bodybuilding and biggest consumers of whey protein. The majority does not receive appropriate orientation for consumption.
