Use of BK virus DNA to study the expression of eukaryotic genes in human cells in transient assay [Uso del DNA del virus BK per lo studio a breve termine dell'espressione di geni eucariotici in cellule umane]
We describe the function of BK virus origin of replication present in the construction of some plasmid vectors. In human cells transfected with different recombinant DNA molecules, al containing the BK virus origin of replication, we observed an increase of the amount of the recombination DNA 36/48 hours after transfection.
