The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation\u27s Initiative on The Future of Nursing at the Institute of Medicine (IOM) (Committee, 2011) was formed with the goal of identifying ways to transform the nursing profession to meet the challenges of a complex and rapidly changing health care system. The report on their findings was released in 2010.
