Colorectal cancer exhibits aberrant activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling. Many inhibitors of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway have been tested for Wnt-dependent cancers including colorectal cancer, but are unsuccessful due to severe adverse reactions.
