This paper aims at determining the economic value of historical neighborhood of
Jolan in Hamadan city in Iran. The research method is an applied study and a
descriptive-analytical argument. The statistical population is tourists in the historical
neighborhood of Jolan, which was surveyed from 347 people randomly by
questionnaire. We examined the determinants and their impact on various payment
willingness using four models and multi-level ordered logistics method.
The results show that the stated willingness to one time payment is 40 thousand
Tomans and the willingness to annually payment, as well as willingness to protect
and prevent its destruction as a per capita tax are 24 thousand Tomans.
Also, interest in visiting historical neighborhoods, education, and employment are
the most important factors that can be considered. The results of the conditional one
time payment model show that education, interest, and number of annual visits are
factors that have influenced the approval or rejection of the specified limit (35,000
Tomans)
