Abstract

Globalization processes set new tasks in front of modern companies and creatednew opportunities for their development. The functioning of metallurgy enterprises underglobalization conditions requires systematic changes that enable an increase of companiescompetitiveness on the market. Significant changes in foundries activities cause investmentventures. Particular intensification of development activities could be noticed duringprivatization of state enterprises and consolidation of iron and steel section in Poland.
