Abstract

Understanding the governance concept implies the identification of the leaders,rules and directions pursued by a country in terms of its economic, social and cultural policy.The article briefly refers to the concept of responsibility and its importance within democraticgovernance. It is one of the basic principles whose way of application influences the runningof institutions and the regulations of governance, either fostering or influencing theireffectiveness and efficiency.
