Abstract
This work is meant as a monograph discusing the topic "Education for the Country’s Demence in the Polish Scouts'
Association". It is based on a thorough study of avakable literature devoted to theoretical grounds for both,
social education in aspects of sociology and pedagogics and problems of patriotic-defensive education of the youth.
It also deals with the analysis of scout education values in aspects of social roles to be played, for which the
organization aims prepare it’s members (Chapter One). The main part the present work is based on the empirical
examination of, a vast, representative population from all over Poland, on which the following problems are being
discussed here:
- education for the country’s defence in the activities undertaken by the Polish Scouts’ Association (Chapter
Three),
- analysis of the scouts patriotic-defence education compared with similar activities of other youth organizations
(Chapter Four),
- innovations introduced in the field of educating the scout youth for defence of the country (Chapter Five ),
The finishing part of this work is devoted to a synthesis of the research done as to a systematic conceptualisation
of the topic at issue.
