This work aims to show through zooliterary studies perspective how the relationship between man and animal in Manuel Bandeira's poem "Porquinho-daíndia" and in Luiz Vilela's short-story "Zoiuda" is motivated by the need to affection revealed by incommunicability and loneliness that marks the enunciation of the lyrical subject in the poem and the character´s psychology in the short-story. Our hypothesis is that this configuration gives the animal anthropomorphic aspects, more precisely of a woman, revealing the mismatch loving that marks the trajectory of the subjects of these fictions.Este trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar, à luz dos estudos zooliterários, como a relação entre o homem e o animal no poema “Porquinho-da-índia”, de Manuel Bandeira e no conto “Zoiuda”, de Luiz Vilela, é motivada pela necessidade de afeto revelada pela incomunicabilidade e solidão que marcam a enunciação do sujeito lírico do poema e a psicologia da personagem do conto. Nossa hipótese é de que essa configuração confere ao animal aspectos antropomórficos, mais precisamente o de uma mulher, revelando o descompasso amoroso que marca a trajetória dos sujeitos dessas ficções
