no plano pedagógico do curso de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal de
Santa Catarina (UFSC). Caracterizada pelo código BSU7402, só pode ser realizada
sob cumprimento de todas as demais disciplinas presentes na grade do referido curso.
A disciplina contribui de maneira grandiosa para o aprofundamento prático dos
conhecimentos adquiridos de maneira teórica durante o período de graduação.
Proporciona ao discente, crescimento profissional e pessoal, especialmente para a
área de interesse do mesmo, preparando o futuro do indivíduo para o exercício pleno
de sua função e o desenvolvimento de sua carreira. Este relatório, busca descrever o
período de estágio curricular na área de Anestesiologia Veterinária, bem como as
instalações da concedente onde o mesmo foi realizado e por fim, as atividades
desenvolvidas pelo discente. Este estágio Curricular Supervisionado, foi realizado nas
dependências do Hospital Veterinário Universitário (HVU) da Universidade Federal de
Santa Maria (UFSM) no Rio Grande do Sul. Ao todo, preencheu-se 512 horas totais,
do dia 17 de fevereiro de 2025 ao dia 23 de maio de 2025. O estudante em questão,
pôde compreender e realizar atividades da rotina hospitalar, que abrangeram desde o
meio cirúrgico bem como ambulatorial, sendo assim houve a possibilidade de auxiliar
na realização de protocolos anestésicos, monitoração de anestesias gerais,
recuperação de pacientes, sedações ambulatoriais para os mais diversos tipos de
procedimentos, consultas pré-anestésicas e rodas de conversa sobre a área
acompanhada. As atividades descritas proporcionaram evolução prática e teórica do
discente, contribuindo para o profissional que irá se tornar.The Supervised Internship is recognized as a mandatory subject in the pedagogical
plan of the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina
(UFSC). Characterized by the code BSU7402, it can only be carried out upon
completion of all other subjects present in the curriculum of the aforementioned course.
The subject contributes greatly to the practical deepening of the knowledge acquired
theoretically during the undergraduate period. It provides the student with professional
and personal growth, especially in the area of interest, preparing the future of the
individual for the full exercise of his/her function and the development of his/her career.
This report seeks to describe the period of curricular internship in the area of Veterinary
Anesthesiology, as well as the facilities of the granting institution where it was carried
out and, finally, the activities developed by the student. This Supervised Internship was
carried out at the University Veterinary Hospital (HVU) of the Federal University of
Santa Maria (UFSM) in Rio Grande do Sul. In total, 512 hours were completed, from
February 17, 2025 to May 23, 2025. The student in question was able to understand
and perform routine hospital activities, which covered both surgical and outpatient
settings, thus having the opportunity to assist in the implementation of anesthetic
protocols, monitoring of general anesthesia, patient recovery, outpatient sedation for
the most diverse types of procedures, pre-anesthetic consultations and discussion
groups about the area monitored. The activities described provided practical and
