A pesquisa explora criticamente o transumanismo, examinando seus objetivos, implicações e sua esfera anti-ecológica, à luz das perspectivas ecofeministas de Vandana Shiva, Maria Mies e também através de nova ética proposta por Hans Jonas. Tem como propósito compreender como o transumanismo, ao buscar a superação das limitações biológicas humanas, promove um cenário anti-ecológico ao colocar o ser humano como superior à natureza, se voltando ao pensamento cartesiano que, além de separar, coloca mente e razão acima do corpo e natureza, onde o corpo e natureza acabam sendo tratados como uma massa amorfa a ser manipulada em prol de determinados objetivos. O estudo buscou, através da revisão bibliográfica, examinar como essa abordagem impacta o equilíbrio ecológico a partir do momento que ignora os limites naturais, desconsiderando o humano como parte da natureza. Ao integrar as visões desses pensadores, a pesquisa pretende elucidar as complexidades éticas e ambientais envolvidas na busca pela transcendência biológica, fornecendo novas reflexões sobre os rumos da tecnologia e sua relação com a preservação do meio ambiente e a sustentabilidade da vida na TerraThe research critically explores transhumanism by examining its goals, implications, and anti-ecological sphere considering the ecofeminist perspectives of Vandana Shiva, Maria Mies, as well as the new ethics proposed by Hans Jonas. The study aims to understand how transhumanism, in its pursuit of overcoming human biological limitations, fosters an anti-ecological scenario by placing humans above nature, drawing on Cartesian thought that not only separates but also elevates mind and reason over body and nature, where body and nature are treated as shapeless matter to be manipulated for specific objectives. Through a bibliographic review, the study seeks to examine how this approach impacts ecological balance by disregarding natural limits, excluding humans as an intrinsic part of nature.
