Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) biomass estimation during transfers using acoustic and optic techniques

Abstract

Our results show that the use of an acoustic transducer in transfers offers the possibility of performing an automatic counting with error below 10%, which is decreased to 1.2% after improving structure and algorithms.
