Quadratic programming for FIR digital filter design

Abstract

Linear phase FIR digital filter design problems are discussed. Furthermore, the design problems are presented in terms of quadratic programming problems, and solved using Lemke's Algorithm. The quadratic program is implemented with Ravindran's FORTRAN subroutines. Several design examples are also given to support the validity of quadratic programming.Includes bibliographical references (leaf 37)California State University, Northridge.
