Agriculture, Ecomuseums and Local Identities in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy)

Abstract

The work examines the eco-museum reality on the territory of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, analyzing the significant role in the action of safeguarding and promoting the values of local identity, especially in rural settings. In particular, to be explored are the parish maps, a fundamental tool for self-recognition and to strengthen the sense of belonging for a community, and the traditional agricultural production as an opportunity to recover identity and at the same time to activate circuits of sustainable and qualitative economy
