The article concerns the activities of local female guides, who show around the districts of Gdańsk. Referring to the local past is one of the aspects of their activities. This is especially evident in the narratives related to walks in the districts. They are largely composed of nostalgic personal memories, as well as memories of the inhabitants of the districts. As a result, a certain emotional climate is created.
