Evrene ve insana ilişkin postmodernist duyarlılık biçimi, esas itibarıyla, iktidar ile siyaset arasında gerçekleşen ayrışmaya ve dolayısıyla da toplumsal dünyanın belirlenim ve denetim dışına çıkması olgusuna dayanır. İnsanlar özünde siyasi olmayan, yani kendi kamusal muhakemesinin konusu haline getiremediği güçlerin (özellikle de mali piyasalar ve meta piyasaları) etkisine daha fazla maruz kalmaktadırlar. Küreselleşen piyasanın yarattığı belirsizliğin insanlar tarafından içselleştirilmesinin sonucunda, en genel anlamıyla, zihinsel öz-disiplinin bütünselliği çözülme sürecine girecektir. Bu süreç içerisinde, insanın bir hiç olduğu bilincinin yaygınlaşması, günümüz düşüncesinin çok geniş bir kesiminin kriz, kopuş, süreksizlik ve güvensizlik gibi kategoriler tarafından dolayımlanmasına yol açmıştır.Postmodernist form of sensibility to universe and human essentially stems from
the rift between politics and power, and as a result this situation leads to social realm’s
falling out of the scope of determination and control. People are more and more subject to
the effects of nonpolitical actors, which are among others, financial and Meta markets.
People have to try to keep up pace with the changes which are caused by globalizing
markets and this can be realized by mental self-discipline. During this process there will
be a widespread idea that human beings are useless creatures and this idea is caused by
categories such as crisis, dissolution, impermanence and distrust which is present in
today’s world
