On the Kara Abdal Süleyman Semsi Dede and hıs poems

Abstract

Tasavvufî yapılar içerisinde sanat ve edebiyatı en ziyade özümsemiş geleneğin Mevlevîlik olduğuna şüphe yoktur. Muhtelif coğrafyalarda Mevlevîliği temsil eden mutasavvıfların kısm-ı azamı sanat ve edebiyatla iç içedir. Hanya Mevlevîhânesi kurucu şeyhi (Kara Abdâl) Süleymân Şemsî de (1829-1886) bu geleneği devam ettiren şahsiyetlerdendir. Şeyhliği ve şairliği ile öne çıkan Şemsî Dede’nin 1305/1887 yılında eski yazıyla yayımlanmış Dîvânçe’si, Farsça bir mesnevî ile farklı nazım şekillerindeki Türkçe manzumelerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu makalede öncelikle Şemsî Dede’nin hayatına ve şairliğine temas edilecektir. Ardından tarafımızca yayına hazırlanmış olan Dîvânçe’nin muhtevasına değinilecek ve şiirlerinden örnekler verilecektir.There is no doubt that Mevleviyeh is the tradition which assimilated art and literature mostly among the sufistic structures. Most of sufis who represent the tradition of Mevleviyeh in various geographies are interested in art and literature. Süleyman Semsi (Kara Abdal) –born in 1829 and died in 1886- who was founder sheikh of Hanya Mevlevihane is among the people who maintained this tradition. Divançe published in 1305/1887 by ancient writing belonging to Semsi Dede who became prominent by his features of sheikhdom and poesy comprises of a Persian mesnevi and Turkish poems in various odes. In this study, it will be mentioned about life and poesy of Semsi Dede first of all. And after it will be mentioned about content of Divançe prepared for publishing by us and exemplified from his poems
