Mîhâîl Nu'ayme değişik ülkelerde yaşamış, farklı inanç ve mezheplerle karşılaşmış, değerli bilim ve din adamlarından etkilenmiş ve birçok alanda da kendini yetiştirmiş, başta Arap dünyası olmak üzere dünyada nam salmış, çok kültürlülüğü ile temayüz etmiş fikir adamı, eleştirmen ve şair bir Mehcer edebiyatçısıdır. Hemen hemen her alanda fikir ileri sürmüş, eserlerinde bunlar dağınık halde mevcuttur. Ancak mistik yapısı eserlerinde daha yoğundur. Yaklaşık yüzyıl yaşamış olan Nu'ayme, fikirlerinin toplu olarak yerleştirdiği en önemli eserlerinden biri de inceleme konumuz olan Mirdad adlı eseridir. Bu eserde Mihail Nu'ayme'nin savunduğu ve eserlerinde vurguladığı farklı inanç ve mezhepler ile vahdet-i vücuttan reenkarnasyona kadar değişik dini, mistik ve felsefi konular hakkındaki görüşleri yer alır. Bu incelememizde iki ana bölüm işlenecektir. Birinci bölümde incelemekte olduğumuz eserin yazarı Mîhâîl Nu'ayme'nin hayatı, yaşadığı ülkeler, aldığı eğitimler, etkilendiği yazarlar, edebi kişiliği ve farklı türlerdeki eserleri kısaca incelenecektir. Ayrıca Mehcer edebiyatı, sebepleri, akımları ve bunlarda Nu'ayme'nin yeri irdelenecektir. İkinci bölümde Mirdad adlı eseri iki yönden incelenecektir. Eserin olay örgüsü, karakterleri, zaman ve mekân ile dil, üslup ve anlatım gibi teknik; yazarın uzun ömrü ve birikimli ilmi ve mistik halinin eserde serpiştirdiği Tanrı, vahdet-i vücut, reenkarnasyon, doğa ve insan sevgisi, ölüm ve zaman gibi kavramları tematik yönden incelenecektir.Mīkhāʾīl Nuʿayma is a Mahjar man of letters who lived in different countries, encountered different beliefs and sects, was influenced by valuable scientists and religious figures, educated himself in many fields, became famous in the world, especially in the Arab world, and distinguished himself with his multiculturalism. His ideas in almost every field are scattered in his works. However, his mystical structure is more intense in his works. One of the most important works of Nuʿayma, who lived for about 100 years, is his work called Mirdād, which is the subject of our analysis. This work includes the different beliefs and sects that Mīkhāʾīl Nuʿayma defended and emphasized in his works, and his views on various religious, mystical, and philosophical issues, from the unity of existence (waḥdat al-wujūd) to reincarnation. Two main chapters will be covered in this study. In the first, we examine the life of Mīkhāʾīl Nuʿayma, the author of the work, the countries he lived in, the education he received, the writers he was influenced by, his literary personality and his works in different genres with brief information. Additionally, Mahjar literature will be investigated with its reasons, strands and Nuʿayma's place therein. In the second chapter, his work Mirdād will be analyzed from two aspects. The work's plot, characters, time and place, language, style and narration will be analyzed technically, while the concepts, such as god, the unity of the existence, reincarnation, love of nature and humanity, death and time, which are sprinkled in the work by the long life and accumulated knowledge and mystical state of the author will be examined thematically
