Changes of fields of studies at Polish higher-education institutions in the context of the labor market needs

Abstract

The paper concerns the issue of adjusting the offer of Polish higher-education institutions to the labor market needs. Massification of access to higher education reported in recent years has put into question the quality of education at higher-education institutions in Poland and thus the adequacy of their offer to the demands of the labor market. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the changes in the sphere of higher education in recent years in the context of cohesion between education programs and demands of the economy
