INDIVIDUAL FARMING AS A LABOR SINK: EVIDENCE FROM POLAND AND RUSSIA

Abstract

In Poland and Russia, small-scale individual farms employ more labor per hectare of land than large-scale corporate farms, without suffering from lower labor productivity.
