In this work, we analyze two picturebooks, Beware of the Storybook wolves written by L. Child and Interrumpting Chicken written by E. Stein, in order to discover the possibilities that they have for young readers reading and literary training. For this reason, we analyze two strategies that are present in this type of text and allow to question the functioning of the literary work: metalepsis and hypertextuality. In this work we realized an exhaustive analysis of the types of metalepsis from approaches to the Theory of paradoxical narration, and we discuss the relationship between metalepsis and hypertextuality. Through these mechanisms present in the picturebooks promote activation of metaliterary consciousness of young readers because they discover, and question, the breakdown of the conventions of traditional children's texts.En este trabajo se realiza un análisis de dos álbumes metaficcionales, Cuidado con los cuentos de Lobos escrito por L. Child e Interrumpting Chicken de E. Stein, con el fin de descubrir las posibilidades que poseen para la formación lecto-literaria de los jóvenes lectores. Para ello se analizan dos estrategias que se encuentran presentes en este tipo de textos y que permiten cuestionar el funcionamiento de la obra literaria: la metalepsis y la hipertextualidad. En este trabajo se realiza un exhaustivo análisis de los tipos de la metalepsis a partir de los planteamientos de la Teoría de la narración paradógica, y se analiza la relación que mantiene con la hipertextualidad y con los intertextos a los que se remite.Mediante estos mecanismos presentes en los álbumes metaficcionales, se promoverá la activación de la conciencia metaliteraria de los jóvenes lectores por cuanto descubrirán, y cuestionarán, la ruptura de las convenciones de los textos infantiles tradicionales
