Abstract
To settle several problems of locomotive HXD1C from actual operation on Lanzhou railway line, improved adhesion utilization control software for the locomotive was presented. Adhesion control strategy basing on the differential of the wheel acceleration was offered, and the test waves were given. Results indicated the new correlative control software improving performance of the locomotive traction effectively on conditions of long, big ramp and small curve railway line
