Se estudian al microscopio óptico y al microscopio electrónico de barrido la morfología seminal de los 15 taxones de Caryophyllaceae (13 spp. y 2 variedades) representados en el Parque Nacional Mburucuyá. Se reconocen tres tipos de semillas de acuerdo a la ornamentación de la cubierta seminal y tres tipos de acuerdo al patrón: ápteras, aladas o alada/ápteras. Los caracteres exomorfológicos resultaron de valor diagnóstico a nivel infragenérico e infraespecífico para la identificación de los taxones. Los resultados obtenidos se comparan con estudios previos en especies relacionadas.Seed morphology of fifteen taxa of Caryophyllaceae (13 species and 2 varieties) represented in the National Park Mburucuyá were studied by light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. A total of three types of seeds were recognized on the basis of the seminal surface ornamentation and three types according to the pattern: wingless, winged and winged/ wingless. The differences observed in exomorphological characteristics show the diagnostic value of the seeds at infrageneric and infraspecific level for the identification of the taxa.
