Seismic Response Prediction of Concrete Arch Dam

Abstract

 The performance evaluation of concrete arch dam under dynamic excitation is a challenging task which requires the comprehensive knowledge of modeling aspects. This paper summarizes important and critical parameters to be considered during dynamic analysis of concrete arch dams. A comprehensive review work is carried out in order to identify the factors which influence significantly the three – dimensional analysis of arch dams. </p
