The cause to increse the number of glacial earthquakes is global warming. By contrast, we do not know the cause of the exponential increase of the number of tectonic earthquakes. We use some deta catalog of earthakes to check the increse of tectonic earthquakes. These deta catalog have different characteristic. We clarify this difference and analyze the earthquakes on the Greenland statistically.   近年、地球温暖化により世界中にさまざまな異常気象等の影響がでているが、北極圏でもこの温暖化の影響により、氷がどんどん減っている。また、氷が解けることにより氷河地震の発生数が年々増えているという報告もある。図 1 はグリーンランドで観測された氷河地震の月ごとの数と年ごとの数を表している(Ekström, G. et al., 2006)。この図からも、2000 年以降氷河地震の数が増えているのが確認できる。さらに、氷河地震だけでなく、自然地震に関してもグリーンランドで発生数が増えているという報告がある。図２は 2011 年までのグリーンランドでの年ごとの地震の発生数を表しているが、2005 年あたりから急激に数が増大している様子が確認できる。氷河地震の増加は気温の上昇が影響していると考えられるが、自然地震の急激な増加に関しては、直接的な原因はよくわからない。そこで、様々な観点から自然地震の発生数の時間変化に関して解析を行う。   我々はこの地震数の増加に注目し、特に 2000 年以降のグリーンランドでの地震の統計解析を行った。だが、地震数の増加はここ数年でのことであり、地震の新しいデータに関しては、ひとつのデータセンターの地震カタログでは不十分である。主に地震の解析で使う International seismological center (ISC)のデータカタログは震源決定まで時間がかかるため、約 2 年前のデータまでしかそろっていない。また、United States geological survey (USGS)のNational earthquake information center (NEIC)のデータカタログは最近(1 年以内)のデータまでそろっているが、データがやや不完全である。Greenland ice sheet monitoring network (GLISN)の Global Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS)のデータカタログは 1,2 週間前のデータまでそろっており、最近のデータ分析も可能であるが、逆に昔のデータがなく、他のデータと合わせて使う必要がある。これらのデータの特徴に注意をしながら、グリーンランドでの地震活動度の時間変化について調べる。           Figure 1.
