本稿は､戦争や惨劇､差別や災害など､｢人間の苦痛｣に関連した場所や資料を保存､展示し､それらを鑑賞する行為､またその現象を､教育学的課題として検討しようとするものである｡ﾀﾞｰｸﾂｰﾘｽﾞﾑ研究や戦争写真論などで指摘されるように､ﾒﾃﾞｨｱを通じて語られる｢人間の苦痛｣や､博物館で展示される｢人間の苦痛｣は､教育的要素を持つと共に様々なﾒｯｾｰｼﾞを見る側に伝える｡しかし､そこで指摘されている問題は､学校や博物館での平和教育や道徳教育において､｢人間の苦痛｣に関連する資料が多く用いられる教育現場の問題でもある｡本稿は､｢人間の苦痛｣を語る際に孕む問題点を検討しながら､その問題を乗り越える可能性についても提示した｡This study focuses on the conduct and phenomenon of viewing the exhibition about“human suffering”, such as suffering in war, tragedy, discrimination and disaster. In this paper, these are examined from pedagogical viewpoint. According to the study of dark tourism and war photography, materials about“human suffering”communicate various messages, which are not confined to educational implication, to museum visitors or the people who watch them in the mass media. But this problem related to the exhibition of“human suffering”should be recognized as a difficult challenge to peace education and moral education at school or museum, using this type of material. This paper examines this problem and tries to present the possibility to surmount them
