Abstract
La imagen religiosa fue uno de los mejores medios que la Iglesia romana
tuvo para transmitir sus mensajes. En este sentido, las fachadas de los templos constituyen también el reflejo de los distintos contextos históricos en que fueron realizadas. En este trabajo realizaremos un análisis de la fachada de la catedral de Campeche tomando en consideración las posibles motivaciones materiales y espirituales de sus constructores.The religious image was one of the best ways that the Roman Church had to convey their messages. In this sense, the facades of the churches are also a reflection of the different historical contexts in which they were made. This paper will make an analysis of the facade of the Cathedral of Campeche considering possible material and spiritual motivations of the builders
