Abstract
En la historia de la región Puebla y Tlaxcala, es de suma importancia el estudio de los hombres de negocios que participaron en distintas actividades económicas y que impulsaron el desarrollo económico de dicha región. Para ese estudio son básicos e imprescindibles los documentos notariales de fines del siglo XIX y principios del XX; por ello en este artículo hacemos un análisis de estos materiales.In the history of the region of Puebla and Tlaxcala, of utmost importance is the study of businessmen who participated in different economic activities and that boosted the economic development of the region.
