La indagación acerca de la tecnociencia como ideología se centra, en este estudio, en una consideración de la función ideológica del lenguaje. Atendiendo a tres niveles, representados por Bacon, Orwell y Poerksen: depuración del lenguaje ligada a intereses ideológico-religiosos; ingeniería lingüística previa a la ingeniería social (técnica como herramienta del poder); y finalmente (Poerksen) análisis del lenguaje modular (diseñado por una élite tecnocrática) que configura el modo de pensar tecnológico propio de nuestro tiempo, con atención especial a la naturaleza y uso de las plastic words.The investigation of technoscience as ideology is based on the
ideological function of language. It focuses on three levels represented by
Bacon, Orwell and Poersksen respectively. That is to say, the refinement of
language by ideological-religious interests, the linguistic engineering prior to
the social engineering (technology as a tool of power), and finally the analysis
of modular language (designed by a technocratic elite) which configures the
typical technological way of thinking in present days, and pays special attention
to the nature and the use of ·plastic words·
