Abstract

The paper summarizes the results of the scientific activities of the Institute of Archaeology named after A.Kh.Khalikov of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences in 2024, which became a milestone year in connection with the 10th anniversary of the Institute. This year, the Institute's work has focused on three main fields. One of the key results was the study of the continuity and transformation of the archaeological cultures of Northern Eurasia. This direction is reflected in the publication of academic monographs and articles on the archaeology and history of Eastern Europe. In addition, the formation of the geographic information system has continued, which contributes to a deeper analysis of archaeological data. The Institute also actively works with museum collections, which makes it possible to preserve and popularize archaeological finds. Within the state program of the Republic of Tatarstan, comprehensive scientific, security and rescue studies were conducted both in Russian Federation and abroad. An important part of the Institute's activities is the training of highly qualified specialists through postgraduate studies and international archaeological schools, which contributes to the development of scientific potential in the field of archaeology
