This course is an introduction to the analysis of representations and misrepresentations of Mexicans, Latinos, and Chicanos in Hollywood Cinema. It is also an introduction to Chicano Cinema. Films will be utilized as a resource for historical, political, artistic, and cultural analysis within the multidisciplinary field of Chicana and Chicano Studies.
