3D PRINTING OF ABS+ MATERIAL BENDING TESTS IN PRINTING POSITION B – VERTICAL POSITION

Abstract

The present work is part of a series of works that deal with the manufacture by 3D printing of some specimens for mechanical tensile and bending tests. The samples are made by 3D printing from three types of materials such as ABS+, PETG and PLA+. The printing positions are A-horizontal position, B-vertical position and C-lateral position. In order for the mechanical tests of the samples to be conclusive, 5 samples of each material and from each printing position must be made by 3D printing. The purpose of the mechanical tests is to investigate the mechanical characteristics of the filaments from which the 3D printed samples are manufactured, with the aim of replacing some classically manufactured components within water well drilling installations. The present work deals only with the manufacture by 3D printing in vertical position B, of a number of 5 specimens for bending
