Abstract

The use of hemp concrete, an environmentally friendly material, participates in a process of sustainable development in the housing field. This kind of material is characterized by a complex and hysteretic hygrothermal behavior. The modelling of such a behavior allows comparing numerical and experimental results in terms of thermal and hydric transfers through a wall. Different transfer conditions are analyzed (thermal, hydric, mixed gradients). The results show a thermal dependence of the hydric capacity
