Series de Términos de Intercambio de Frecuencia Mensual para la Economía Chilena: 1965-1999

Abstract

This working paper presents new monthly price series of exports and imports (terms of trade) for the Chilean economy. On the basis of Laspeyres price index methodology (chained) the series cover the period 1965:01-1999:12. In addition, we estimate the correlation between this series and the ones presented by the Central Bank of Chile and by CEPAL for the Chilean economy.
